Genealogy and Local History Room

The Genealogy and Local History Room provides materials and support for those doing research in family history and for those interested in the history of Warren County and the surrounding area.

The collection has a large number of books, booklets, microfilm and microfiche as well as some scrapbooks of interest.
The primary focus of the collection is Warren County and adjacent counties although it contains materials on other Illinois counties, on the state of Illinois and on other states, particularly those states from which our ancestors came.

In 2003 the Warren County IL Genealogical Society sponsored the publication of WARREN COUNTY, ILLINOIS--HISTORY AND FAMILIES.

A limited number are still available.

In addition the society has a quarterly and a list of more than 300 items on its publication list.
